Understand your sleep—so your dental plan supports your health.
Sleep affects everything: energy, mood, focus, and physical recovery. It can also influence what happens in the mouth—especially when disrupted breathing contributes to clenching, grinding, and chronic tension.
A sleep study helps us understand whether sleep is a meaningful part of your symptoms—and a physician-interpreted airway report provides responsible clinical insight so we can plan appropriately.
When we recommend a sleep study
We may recommend a sleep study when patients report combinations of:
- Snoring or restless sleep
- Daytime fatigue
- Morning jaw tightness or headaches
- Chronic clenching/grinding and recurring dental wear
- A history of “fixes” that don’t hold
What “physician-interpreted” means
When sleep and airway are involved, interpretation matters. A physician-interpreted report ensures sleep-related findings are evaluated by the appropriate medical expert—so your plan is informed, coordinated, and responsible.
How results guide your options
Depending on your results and goals, your plan may include:
- Custom oral appliances
- Myofunctional therapy
- Airway-informed orthodontic support
- Coordinated care with other providers when needed
- Sequencing considerations before major restorative or cosmetic work
We’ll explain results in plain language and connect them directly to what you’re experiencing—and what can be done next.
